Each month someone shares their travel experiences with the group, along with their pictures. If you've been to the subject-matter destination that month, there may be a place or restaurants, etc., you didn't know about. In turn, you can share the tidbits that were not mentioned, and then it becomes a forum on travel with the sharing of information.
