Where can I go to practise my English language skills?

We have a conversation group which meets twice a week in Aix-en-Provence. These take place on Thursday and Saturday mornings at the Croquemitoufle café in rue Joseph Cabassol, just off the Cours Mirabeau. It’s for local people (non-members) and AAGP members who want to practise their English or French. 10-11.30

Where can I find an English-speaking doctor?

We are not allowed by French law to provide lists of English-speaking doctors; see this AngloInfo page for more information. However, our members can query the membership for advice through our group email service.

Where can I find an English-speaking children's playgroup?

We have two playgroups: one meets on Friday mornings in one of the mothers' homes and the other in our library Wednesday mornings. The group also organises a Hallowe’en Party for all aspiring witches and wizards, a hugely popular Christmas Party, and an Easter party. You must be a member of the AAGP to participate, or a guest of a member, in which case there is a 5€ charge per person.

There is also another local organisation called English Bubble which proposes activities for children in English.
