Small Groups Activities.In addition to One-off activities, Excursions and Special Events, there are activities which happen weekly and monthly in Small Groups. The list of groups and their organiser can be found in the Members Directory and details of the months activities can be found in the current Newsletter. Play ReadingThe play reading group fills an ache to be in touch with the dramatic world in our own English spoken word. LibraryThe AAGP library of books and DVDs in English is situated at: la Maison des Associations, Pont de l'Arc, 13090, Aix-en-Provence The library offers a click and collect service. HikesThese take place on Sundays once a month and are for the more energetic amongst us! The hikers take on the calanques and the mountains. Hikes are usually last about 4 hours and cover a variety of terrain. You will need to bring a picnic, sun cream, water and be equipped with proper hiking gear. French ConversationAAGP member Jean-Louis Morgenthaler hosts an informal conversation group for members on alternate Friday mornings from 10:30 in the winter and 10:00 in the summer (slightly cooler time), at:le Café des Artistes, 35 place François Villon, 13090 Aix-en-Provence. ExcursionsThe AAGP organises an excellent programme of excursions to please all interests. These visits are not planned on a monthly basis, but pop up when there is something new to discover, and are not necessarily historical or art focussed; past visits have included the EDF plant, the boules factory in Marseille and a behind the scenes trip round the airport.
